Born in Northwest Arkansas, Corey Ouillette has been writing music for over 15 years. He began working as a Recording Engineer in mid 2013, landing positions in studios in Seattle, Washington and Orange County, California. He pivoted to focusing solely on his personal work In 2020 before falling in love with Hip Hop in mid 2022. The first song for his upcoming album, Tell Me A Lie, was written in January of 2024.

Corey has been heavily influenced by a wide range of artists, including Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Mac Miller, Lil Wayne, and XXXTentacion. He blends raspy singing with smoothly-articulated verses to deliver a signature sound all his own. “Cole’s 4 Your Eyes Only was a huge inspiration for me early on” the artist recalls. “It was recommended to me by a coworker, and it was all I listened to for about a month straight”.
